Amogh Thakkar

A junior in college, Amogh interests are in the combinations of science and art. Astrophysics filmmaking. Neuroscience visual art. Mathematical music. He grew up in Maryland, interning for production companies, then attended NYU studying mathematics and filmmaking, simultaneously interning at NASA, StorySyndicate and Lucky8 TV. There he created science-art for Netflix and NASA Goddard. His own company, artfilm, has created videos for the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute and David Eagleman’s NeoSensory. His films have swept the Golden Lion Awards, earned him the NATAS Emmy Scholarship, and allowed him to be the youngest ever Jackson Wild Media Fellow. His future aims are to perform research in mathematics, neuroscience, and astrophysics while representing the new knowledge through interactive art.
